1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Rootin(“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Rootin is a personal habit management application that helps you build positive routines, track your emotional wellbeing, and stay consistent with daily goals through guided onboarding, daily check-ins with mood logging, and visual growth reports.

3. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Rootin for personal or commercial purposes on devices you own or control, in accordance with these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

4. Privacy & Data

Rootin requires an account to sync your data across sessions. Your data is handled as follows:

• Account authentication is managed securely via Email/Password or Google Sign-In.
• Habit data, check-in records, and mood entries are stored securely in the cloud under your account.
• Local data is encrypted on your device.
• No data is shared with third parties for advertising or marketing.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using Rootin, including habits, check-in records, mood entries, and profile information. Synonymy does not claim any rights to your content.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or any of its components.
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any part of it.
• Attempt to access other users’ data or interfere with the authentication system.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Rootin is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Habit tracking, mood reports, and growth statistics are tools to support your wellness journey and should not be considered medical or professional health advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synonymy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Rootin, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or device performance issues.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Rootin after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
