Independent product company

We build useful products for everyday life.

Most of our time goes into designing, shipping, and growing our own apps. We occasionally partner with teams to build products we believe should exist.

How we build

Small products, built with long-term care.

We choose focused problems, ship the clearest useful version, and stay close enough to keep making it better.

  1. 1

    Notice a useful problem

We start with everyday friction — something small enough to understand and meaningful enough to fix.

  2. 2

    Make the smallest useful thing

We reduce the idea to its clearest form, then design the product around what people actually need.

  3. 3

    Ship it ourselves

The same team makes the product decisions, designs the experience, writes the code, and takes it to market.

  4. 4

    Keep improving it

Launch is the beginning. We learn from real use and keep investing in the products that earn a place in people’s lives.

Our focus

Our apps come first.

Our own apps

Most of our attention goes into products we own, operate, and improve for the long term.

Mobile-first products

Focused apps for productivity, learning, wellness, fitness, and creative work.

Useful AI

We use AI when it removes real work or makes an experience meaningfully better.

Selective partnerships

We occasionally build with other teams when the problem, product, and way of working feel right.

Good to know

About Synonymy.

What does Synonymy build?

We build focused mobile apps and digital products for productivity, learning, wellness, fitness, and creative work. Some use AI, but only when it makes the product more useful.

Are your apps made in-house?

Yes. We choose the problems, design the experiences, build the software, and keep improving the products after launch.

Do you build products for other teams?

Occasionally. Our own apps receive most of our focus, but we selectively partner with teams when we believe in the product and can contribute beyond writing code.

How do I get support for an app?

Use the contact page or email us at hello@synonymy.studio. Include the app name and a short description of what you need help with.
